Many of these projects have complex underlying legal structures, including condominium regimes, ground leases, subdivided assessments and taxation lots, and various combinations of the foregoing, which benefit from a multi-disciplined, team approach. We encourage developers and each of the lawyers involved in each particular project to meet for an “upload” on each development, so items such as environmental conditions, title, entitlements, signage, expenses, construction, timing and phasing, are reviewed so that we can provide our experience in documenting the unique nuances of a project while ensuring future development and operational flexibility in the lease.
