Stephen A. Hornstein joined the firm in 2016 and has been a principal since 2022.  Stephen’s affable demeanor coupled with zealous advocacy allows him to provide his clients with the highest level of service.  Stephen primarily represents landlords and developers in drafting and negotiating leases, amendments, assignments and other ancillary documents with national, regional and local tenants in mixed-use developments and strip centers. Prior to joining THG, Stephen served as a Senior Associate in KPMG’s International Tax department.  Stephen earned his Juris Doctor from the Washington College of Law at American University (Cum Laude, 2012), an LL.M. in tax from the New York University School of Law, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Economics from Lafayette College (Cum Laude, 2009).  When not in the office, Stephen enjoys cooking, home improvement projects, and just about any strategy game.  Stephen lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland with his wife and son.
