Larry Fischer joined The Hirschel Group (THG) in October 2012. Previously, Larry was a partner at Deckelbaum Ogens and Fischer, following which he served in various senior in-house roles, as Corporate Counsel at Wireless Matrix USA, Inc., as Vice President/Legal at Nextel and Sprint Nextel, and as Vice President and General Counsel at ICARUS Corporation. The breadth and depth of Larry’s legal and business background allow him to bring pragmatic and creative solutions to the table for both landlords and tenants. He has represented local and national developers, property management companies and secured creditors with major real estate holdings, and as in-house counsel worked on numerous leases and real estate related matters, including responsibility for a number of unique projects such as Nextel’s Las Vegas Convention Center Monorail Station, the NASCAR NEXTEL CUP SERIES title sponsorship, and the naming rights agreement for the Sprint Center sports arena. He has substantial hands-on experience resolving disputes including matters relating to construction, lease restructurings with distressed tenants, and insurance claims. Larry is a graduate of Binghamton University and the George Washington University National Law Center, and has completed the Strategic Business Leadership Certificate Program at the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University. He lives in Rockville, Maryland with his wife, and they have two children.
